Our Services - Vancouver Dentists

Our goal is to provide comprehensive care that will benefit the patient. We seek to inform the patient with all the options so they can make the best choice for their dental health.

GENERAL DENTISTRY

At our office, patient health and comfort is our priority. We use low-radiation digital x-rays to minimize radiation dose while providing high quality images. We provide a wide variety of services, such as:

  • Cleanings

  • Fillings

  • Extractions (Including wisdom teeth extractions)

We believe that extracting a tooth should always be a last resort. When we have to extract teeth, patients are given local anesthetic  and thus, it should not be painful.

Wisdom teeth extractions, if necessary, are best done between the ages of approximately 16 - 22. We may recommend that wisdom teeth be extracted for numerous reasons including cavities, recurrent infections in the gums, risk of damage to adjacent teeth, and a lack of room in the jaw. This is also typically done with local anesthetic.

  • Root Canals

A root canal is necessary when the nerve of the tooth has been irreversibly injured. If left untreated, it can result in pain and infection. If you are experiencing severe pain from cold, hot and/or biting, it may be a sign that a root canal is required.

  • Bridges

A bridge is an option to replace a missing tooth between 2 other teeth.

  • Invisalign/Aligners

Aligners such as Invisalign are a great way to straighten your teeth without the looks of braces. It can be used in some, but not all cases. Please book a consultation with us and we will go over your case to see if you are a good candidate for aligners!

  • Botox

Botox can be used not only as a cosmetic procedure but also to help with TMJ pain and chronic migraines. Read more on our Botox services in Vancouver>>

  • Whitening

We offer several options for whitening, such as at-home bleaching trays, whitening strips, and in-office whitening. If you are interested, we would be happy to explain the process of each method.

  • Technology

We strive to stay current with the ever-changing technological advances in dentistry. One of our new exciting additions is an intra-oral scanner, which can be used to replace traditional impressions in most cases. This scanner is comfortable for patients and is also more accurate than the traditional impressions. We have a cone beam CT x-ray in our office so our patients do not need to make an extra trip elsewhere if one were needed. As well, we have digital x-rays to minimize radiation for our patients.

Should you need dental treatment that is out of our scope, we have a wide network of specialists that we are connected with to give you the best outcome possible.

IMPLANT DENTISTRY

Implants are one of the most popular ways to replace one or more missing teeth. An implant is a titanium screw that is placed into your jaw bone. After carefully planning where the implant will be placed via our cone beam CT x-ray, the surgery is completed with a guide that goes over your teeth so we can predictably and precisely place the implant. After the surgery, we wait for at least 3 months for the implant to heal. After it has healed, we will place a crown on top of the implant. An implant provides the most natural way to replace a tooth or multiple teeth. You will be able to chew on it and floss it normally. Unlike a bridge, an implant is free standing and does not involve adjacent teeth.

EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE

We always have a dentist on call when the office is closed. We will do our very best to manage dental emergencies over the phone and in office after hours if needed.

Dental emergencies include extreme tooth pain, swelling, traumatic injury to the mouth, and excessive bleeding from the mouth. Please note that if there is major swelling (extending below your jaw or above your eye) or severe trauma, you should direct yourself immediately to the Emergency Department at your nearest hospital.
